PEACE NETWORKING FOR MAKING DVELOPMENT POSSIBLE
A presentation
We invite you to join forces with us for the improvement of water, education, health, agriculture, nourishment, soil and nature preservation, employment
We support local initiatives that organize themselves with the aim of solving their own problems from within.
The owners of the problem are the protagonists of the solution. We accompany, facilitate connections and complete material or educational assistance of what is missing.
Our tenet is the participation of the community form the onset of the project and the collaboration of all possible actors in a territory to develop networks of trust to go from projects to a local program. The mutual knowledge and help save a lot of resources and brings shared knowledge into use. Synergy and win-win solutions for a common goal involves the people and is cost effective.
Conflict prevents development. Some conflicts are based on inequalities, or perceived different treat by authorities, government. Lack of employment, education and its possibilities, of health infrastructure, of potable water, also lead to conflict. We also find conflict in the competition for resources: water, pastures, land. Structural violence is greatly due to the missing essentials for a decent living.
Community consideration
Community development, i.e., communities that have a motivation to mobilize for their people, resources, networking, point to what is really needed by them and for that they are ready to struggle. The owners of the problem are the ones to solve it, take care from the beginning and ensure the solutions are lasting ones. Only through this protagonism can they ensure sustainability.
Participation because the protagonists own their problem and solve it.
Collaboration is cost-effective and make people know each other in a territory.
Paves the way to some other projects.
Makes better use of local resources.
Fosters local protagonism and hence sustainability.
