The Ari Zone in South Ethiopia Region is one of the project areas of IPADA. Hence, between late March and early April 2005, Prof. Gebre Yntiso Deko, the Director of PADA, travelled to the zone to accomplish multiple tasks briefly discussed below.   

The leadership of Inclusive Peace and Development in Africa (namely, Prof. Gebre Yntiso Deko, Prof. Felipe Aixala and Dr. Berihu Gebrekidan) visited the Central Ethiopia Region to share experience on successful development interventions and the South Ethiopia Region to discuss collaboration with potential partners.
